About this substack

My background is in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, but my expertise is in stress, work-life balance, and human decision making. I’ve long been interested in the first two, but over the years, I sort of stumbled upon my interests in decision making. The more I studied and wrote about stress and work-life balance, the more I realized there were a lot decisions people were making, both consciously and unconsciously. And that sent me down a rabbit hole from which I have never fully emerged (I poke my head up every so often). And so, a lot of what I write is grounded in the human decision-making aspect of life, sometimes connecting back to stress, work-life balance, or other psychology topics.

Why subscribe?

I don’t write necessarily on a specific schedule, so if you want to read the latest from me, I recommend subscribing. I will generally post something at least once a month.
